Child Trust Fund (CTF)
The child trust fund scheme is a long-term savings account for children. The Government scheme has been withdrawn for children born after 2 January 2011, although accounts continue for eligible children born between 1 September 2002 and 2 January 2011. Junior ISA is available instead.
As a result, we no longer hold information about child trust funds on these pages.
All maintenance of a child trust fund account should be managed through the child trust fund account provider (ie the bank or building society where the account is held).
Information about child trust funds, including HMRC’s on-line service to trace the account provider, is available on the GOV.UK website
