Consultation on free childcare for 2-year olds under Universal Credit

The Department for Education has launched a consultation on the provision of free early years childcare for 2 year olds under Universal Credit.

The Government’s proposal involves introducing an earnings threshold of £15,400 per annum for families receiving Universal Credit.

The consultation relates to provision in England only and the documents are available on the GOV.UK website 

Closing date for responses is 15 January 2018.
