Consultation on Free School Meals in Northern Ireland

The Northern Ireland Executive launched a public consultation on 6 April 2017 on proposed changes to eligibility criteria for free school meals and uniform grants. Changes are due to the roll out of Universal Credit across Northern Ireland which begins in September 2017 and will be phased in gradually.

The consultation runs from Thursday 6 April 2017 until Monday 5 June 2017 at 5.00pm inclusive and details can be found on the NI Executive website .
