HMRC - Personal Tax Account access - IT maintenance

HMRC have advised that the majority of services in the Personal Tax Account (PTA) service will be unavailable over this weekend while they carry out planned IT system updates.

PTA services will be unavailable from mid-day Friday 13 October 2017 for a period of about 40 hours through until Sunday 15 October.

Tax credit claimants should only be affected if they access the tax credits digital service – ‘Manage your tax credits’ via their personal tax account.

The ‘Manage your tax credits’ service can be accessed directly via the GOV.UK website.
