HMRC will review Concentrix cases from summer 2016

HMRC have agreed to review all tax credit decisions which were made by Concentrix during their programme of investigations in summer 2016, where the claimant has not already appealed or had a mandatory review of the decision.

HMRC announced the move in their response to the Work and Pensions Committee report and recommendations. The Low Incomes Tax Reform Group (LITRG) have issued a press release.

The review is expected to start fairly soon and it is suggested that it could be completed by the end of March 2017 but no timetable has been set at this stage.

We will update the website with further details as they become available.
