Benefit and tax credit payment arrangements for 19 September 2022

Benefits and tax credits are to be paid early, ahead of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s State Funeral.

The Government has confirmed that payments of benefits and tax credits that are due to land in accounts on Monday 19 September will be made early

People expecting to receive benefits and/or tax credits on Monday 19 September will be paid on Friday16 September instead, the last working day before the bank holiday.
