Closure of Universal Credit ‘live service’

DWP have confirmed that the Universal Credit ‘live service’ will close by Spring 2019 and ahead of this, their live service helpline opening hours are now Monday to Friday, between 9am and 4pm. DWP say they expect the number of people contacting the helpline to reduce as the rollout of Universal Credit full service to all jobcentres reaches completion.
