Work & Pensions Committee inquiry into UC rollout

The Work and Pensions Committee has extended their inquiry into Universal Credit to cover the Government’s preparations for the managed migration of claimants of legacy benefits onto Universal Credit.

Chair of the Committee, Rt Hon Frank Field, has written to Alok Sharma MP, Minister for Employment, asking him to appear before the Committee and to the NAO asking it to advise the Committee on the tests DWP must set and meet before extending Universal Credit further.
