Full business case for Universal Credit to be delayed until Spring 2018

The DWP has confirmed that the full business case for Universal Credit will be delayed until Spring 2018.

DWP’s Director General of Universal Credit, Neil Couling, has written to the Rt Hon Meg Hillier MP, Chair of the Public Accounts Committee, to explain that the full business case for Universal Credit will be delayed until Spring 2018 because the actual volumes of people on Universal Credit are ‘diverging significantly from the forecast volumes’.
