Intermediaries fax number for HMRC

HMRC provide a fax number for intermediaries to send in urgent TC689s - the  form providing authority to act on behalf of a claimant. Although the fax number is  only for sending in urgent TC689s, HMRC tell us they have been receiving a number of faxes about other issues, including some directly from claimants, which cannot be processed by the team who deal with TC689 requests. To avoid unnecessary delays, please make sure only urgent TC689s are faxed to that number by registered intermediaries.
