Re-scheduled system upgrade - Tax Credit Helpline Availability

HMRC have rescheduled their routine upgrades to the tax credits computer system.

The planned upgrades will now take place this coming weekend, which means the tax credits system will be unavailable on 19 and 20 October. 

The Tax Credits Helpline will be open on Saturday as normal but because the advisers will have no access to the tax credits computer system they will only be able to provide general information.  

A message will be played on the Helpline at the beginning of the call to tell callers about the lack of system availability.
