Tax Credit helpline availability - Update

HMRC have advised that the planned upgrade to the tax credits computer system will NOT now be taking place between Thursday 10 October and Monday 14 October and the tax credits system will be available as normal this weekend.

The Tax Credit Helpline and Intermediairies Helpline will be open as usual and providing a normal service. 

HMRC will advise a revised date for their upgrade in due course.
