Tax credits helpline closed for four consecutive days over Easter
The tax credits helpline is usually open over Easter.
This year, routine system upgrades for the new tax year coincide with the Easter weekend, meaning that helpline advisers would have no access to the computer system.
HMRC have decided to close the tax credits helpline on Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Easter Monday.
As they do not open on Sundays, it means that the helpline will be closed for four consecutive days from Friday 6thApril to Monday 9thApril. It will open as usual on Tuesday 10thApril 2012.
