Universal Credit - Surplus Earnings

In a written statement to Parliament on 5 March, Will Quince MP, Parliamentary Under Sectretary of State for Welfare Delivery, confirmed that the temporary threshold for surplus earnings of £2,500 will remain in place until 31 March 2021.

The de minimis level had been due to revert to £300 from April 2020 but the current position, using the de minimis level of £2,500, will now remain in place for another year.
