Universal Credit Passported Benefits - Free School Meals (England)
Legislation has been published relating to entitlement to free school meals in England as a passported benefit for those in receipt of Universal Credit.
The legislation sets an income threshold alongside receipt of Universal Credit and provides for some transitional protection for those already entitled to free school meals under current provisions.
Both sets of regulations are available on the legislation.gov.uk website
The Welfare Reform Act 2012 (Commencement No. 30 and Transitory Provisions) Order 2018 (SI 145/2018)
