Tax-Free Childcare: free childcare

We have some information on the LITRG website about the various free childcare offers available. The rules depend on which part of the UK the claimant lives in.

If a claimant is getting free childcare hours, they cannot claim help for the cost of those free hours via the TFC scheme, but they can use the scheme to cover any additional childcare costs above the free hours that they have to pay for.
